If it’s zipped to the interior of your suitcase, then just remove the zip stops from the zipper and completely remove the slider – the lining should come right off. If it’s glued to the body of your luggage, then you might need to use a bit more force to tear it away.
If your zipper still won’t close, then it’s likely that something inside the latch is broken off. You can try to fix it by reassembling the latch, but if you break off something else, then you’ll need to replace the whole latch.
Another option is to grease the zipper. It might help the teeth to slide easier if there’s some extra lubrication. The most important thing is to be careful – you don’t want to put too much on, or it might damage the zipper.
If all else fails, then you can try to sew the zipper back together – but it’s going to be hard to do a good job without a sewing machine. You can use some push pins instead if you don’t have a sewing machine.
